Three Great Charities Working Together

A 1000 Stroke Buddy Paddle Starting at Veteran's Beach  -- Sebring, FL
Picture
Imagine 18 two person Buddy Teams -- a person with a disability and a friend --  sitting side by side as they paddle three giant Voyageur canoes.  Each team will paddle approximately 1000 strokes to raise awareness for programs and services to the families in the Florida Heartland who live everyday with disabilities.

You can encourage our paddlers by being along the shore near Veterans's Boat Ramp and cheering them on.  or be one of the sponsors with your name or logo on a big canoe.  To discuss sponsorship contact bill@removingthebarriers.org or calling Bill at 833-457-7847.

The Mason G. Smoak Foundation -- a faith-based organization that will support education, preserve the environment, and foster opportunities for leadership development in a manner reflective of Mason’s integrity and character.    www.masongsmoakfoundation.org

Removing the Barriers Initiative -- A public charity run by Jesus followers who are committed to removing the barriers to great experiences for people and families living with disabilities.  We help camps, churches, community events, and others to make their programs accessible and appropriate.  Our feature project is to create StirringWaters, a fully and intentionally disabilities inclusive aquatic experience on the campus of Lake Aurora Christian Camp.  www.removingthebarriers.org
