Jill's Incredible Journey
Hiking the AT to bring PEACE to the people of this world who live with disabilities, differences, and special needs by raising funds to build StirringWaters at Lake Aurora
A Grandmother's Heart
Why would a grandmother who has battled breast cancer and then hiked 900 miles on the Appalachian Trail before breaking a bone, ever consider getting back on the trail? Passion! A passion to make a difference for people and families living every day with disabilities -- and that includes her own family. In 2023 Jill will be back on the trail for another 500 miles. Her hope is to raise $100 for StirringWaters for each of those hard earned miles. This is where each of us can help. |
![]() Recurring Donor
Many of us have limited or fixed incomes, but giving a small amount every month allows us to do more. Just $25 a month for a year helps Jill raise money with 3 of her miles. More per month helps even more. As a token of appreciation we will enter your name into a drawing for each mile you sponsor. (12 x monthly gift). As a start, a kind donor has given us a beautiful piece of Haitian craftsmanship to give away. Jill will also give away 20 personally autographed copies of her book. If we get more prizes, we will add them to the drawings. Can you imagine starting with a rusty 55g metal drum and painstakingly chiselling each detail as you sit on the dirt? All this just to buy some food. The resulting masterpeice is priceless and should be treasured by each of us able to aford a home, a hot bath, and food for the next meal. https://papillonmarketplace.com

![]() One Time Donor
Some are better equipped to make a one time gift. Wealth is not always the reason -- sometimes it because we use our RMD as our method of donating. Whatever the reason, we really appreciate your involvement. Each donor of $500 or more will be given a personally signed copy of Jill's popular book, "Run with Abandon." |
