Missouri River from Yankton, SD, to Sioux City, IA
2025

Adventure Fundraising at its Best
What is more fulfilling than a paddle on a beautiful river?  Paddling on a beautiful river and bringing joy into the lives of people living with disabilities at the same time.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition may have been the most famous paddlers on the Missouri River, but they certainly were not the first nor the last.  The Born by Four PeaceMaker Paddle will trace part of the route by the famous explorers starting near Yankton, SD, and ending downstream in Sioux City, IA.

The French fur traders used big Voyageur canoes to explore much of North America and pave the way for American and Canadian expansion.  The Missouri River was one of their major trade routes and the Born by Four PeaceMaker Paddle will use giant Voyageur style canoes on the historic Missouri River as the tool to establish the Born by Four Foundation.

The purpose of the PeaceMaker Paddle is to raise the needed funds to create The Born by Four Foundation which will provide sustaining financial assistance to ministries that are intentionally inclusive of people and families living with disabilities.

Enjoy a three day moderate paddle with relaxing evenings and stimulating discussion.  Paddlers need to raise a minimum of $15K to participate, but it is hoped they will raise $25K or more.  Funds will be placed with The Solomon Foundation as "donor advised funds" and a team of caring Christians will disburse grants to ministries serving people and families living with disabilities.

Form a fundraising team or represent your church, club, school, business, or community as you paddle each stroke.
